Which York Ebor Festival Hospitality Package is right for me?

The York Ebor Festival offers an outstanding range of official hospitality experiences for 2027, and the best choice depends on the kind of day you want to create at York Racecourse.

Whether you’re entertaining clients, marking a special occasion, or simply treating family and friends to one of the most stylish days in the late-summer racing calendar, there are options to suit every preference — from relaxed and sociable settings with celebrity insights to refined County Stand restaurants with superb views of the Parade Ring or final furlong.

If you want a lively atmosphere, excellent value and a full day’s entertainment, the Racing Breaks Legends Lounge works particularly well. With Grandstand & Paddock admission (and the option to upgrade to County Stand), a complimentary bar, official racecard, TV coverage, betting facilities and exclusive tips plus appearances from Racing Breaks Ambassadors such as Ruby Walsh, Matt Chapman and Derek “Tommo” Thompson, it delivers a fun, inclusive race-day experience ideal for groups who want to enjoy the full Ebor Festival buzz without formality.

If watching the racing is the priority, packages with direct views of the finish line and home straight such as the Voltigeur Restaurant or the Ebor Restaurant work particularly well. Both are located in the County Stand with private balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows and excellent vantage points of the final furlong. These deliver premium hospitality combined with outstanding trackside positioning and are ideal for groups who want to stay close to the action throughout the day.

If you prefer to be close to the horses before each race, the Parade Ring Restaurant is an excellent choice. It offers County Stand admission, a welcome drink, four-course luncheon, afternoon tea and a private balcony overlooking the Parade Ring and pre-parade ring. With tables for smaller groups (up to six), it combines refined dining with an immersive view of the horses and jockeys in the heart of the action.

A private table within one of the top restaurants (Parade Ring, Voltigeur or Ebor) gives your group its own exclusive base for the day. These options suit businesses hosting clients, rewarding teams or entertaining key guests in style and relative privacy, with County Stand access, quality dining, afternoon tea and dedicated facilities including car parking and betting.

Guests seeking a higher level of comfort and the strongest views of the winning post will be drawn to the Ebor Restaurant. Located with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony overlooking the final furlong, it features a welcome drink, three-course luncheon, afternoon tea and complementary drinks (excluding Champagne). It delivers an elevated setting, excellent service and a strong sense of occasion ideal for important celebrations or VIP entertaining.

York Ebor Festival Dress Code

While the only formal dress code at York Racecourse is that in the County Stand, many racegoers like to dress up and step out in style for a day at the Ebor Festival.

The Grandstand and Paddock Dress Code

The Grandstand and Paddock has no formal dress code and guests are free to dress as they wish and feel comfortable. However, taking a lead from the County Stand, many racegoers in this enclosure like to use a day at the races as an excuse to get glammed up. Fancy dress (within the bounds of decency) is not unusual but please ensure it is family friendly.

The County Stand Dress Code

The County Stand is York’s premier enclosure and has a formal dress code of collared shirt, jacket and tie for gentlemen (and those identifying as such). Short-sleeved shirts, bow ties, cravats and dress shorts are all also accepted within the dress code, as are trainers and jeans.

There is no formal dress code for ladies (and those identifying as such), however most choose to dress up for a day at the races – think wedding guest attire. Many female racegoers like to wear dresses, high-heeled shoes together with hats or fascinators, however it’s most important that you feel comfortable and enjoy your day.

If the weather is particularly hot, the dress code for gentlemen may be relaxed – check the York Racecourse website or social media for any updates.
