Over four days in September, racegoers converge on Doncaster Racecourse to enjoy a blend of elite racing, festival entertainment, style and social buzz. The highlight is the Group 1 Betfred St Leger Stakes — the oldest Classic in the world — a true test of stamina that crowns the champions of the flat season and offers a unique slice of sporting heritage.
The festival kicks off in style with Ladies Day, a glamorous celebration of fashion, racing, and social sparkle. This opening day features top-quality flat racing alongside live music and the renowned Style Awards. It’s the ideal occasion for racegoers to dress up, enjoy champagne lawns, and soak up the elegant atmosphere. Expect a mix of sophistication and fun that sets the tone for the rest of the week.
On Doncaster Cup Day, the focus shifts to elite competition, with the historic Doncaster Cup taking centre stage. This day brings together stamina-rich races and a refined racing crowd, providing a sense of tradition and gravitas. With a stylish but relaxed vibe, it’s perfect for serious racing fans who appreciate the heritage of the sport.
