The Dubai World Cup 2027 takes place on Saturday 27 March 2027 at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai. It is the 31st running of the race and the final night of the Dubai Racing Carnival.
The Dubai World Cup is held at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, UAE. The racecourse is a short drive from Downtown Dubai.
The Dubai World Cup is a Group 1 thoroughbred race run over 2,000 metres on dirt, and it is the highlight of a night of top-class international racing at Meydan. The 2027 race carries a US$12 million prize.
Racing takes place in the afternoon and continues into the evening under the lights at Meydan. Official race times are released by the Dubai Racing Club closer to the date.
The Dubai World Cup itself is worth US$12 million. The 2027 race meeting is the final fixture in the 2026-27 UAE racing season.

The Morning Gallop event takes place at Meydan Racecourse on Thursday morning, two days before the Dubai World Cup. You’ll be able to catch a glimpse as horses that are due to compete on Dubai World Cup night go through their final trackwork before the big day!
You’ll enjoy a lavish breakfast seated in front of Meydan’s iconic grandstand and the morning will be hosted with interviews from jockeys, trainers and owners. There will also be entertainment throughout the morning.
