Each enclosure at the Qatar Goodwood Festival delivers something distinctive — from the relaxed, family-friendly Lennox Enclosure with its picnic-friendly spaces and close-up trackside views of the horses in action, to the vibrant Gordon Enclosure offering amazing course views, Parade Ring access, multiple grandstands, abundant food and drink options, and a lively social hub, right up to the premier Richmond Enclosure (members) featuring the best vantage points from the March Grandstand opposite the winning post and Parade Ring, fabulous bars, fine dining including Veuve Clicquot Champagne & Seafood, and a sophisticated, exclusive atmosphere.

Goodwood Cup Day
The undoubted sporting and social highlight of the flat-racing season kicks off in style. Enjoy a feast of top-quality racing including the historic Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup. Fashion fans can show delight in the Goodwood Talent in Fashion Award, and after a full day of racing, head to the popular annual cricket match between Lord March Racing XI and the Lord’s Taverners, set in front of Goodwood House.
Sussex Stakes Day
The Qatar Sussex Stakes is one of the key highlights of the flat racing season, becoming Goodwood’s race of champions. With a reputation for bringing together some of the most outstanding horses in training year-on-year, it has carved its own term the ‘Duel On The Downs’. Previous winners include the peerless Frankel, the French sensation Solow and the mighty Mohaather in 2020.
Ladies’ Day
Ladies’ Day is the place to be and be seen, the perfect opportunity to show off your finest outfits and enjoy a beautiful day out with your gals. The prestigious Group 1 Qatar Nassau Stakes is the highlight of the eight-race card for day three of Qatar Goodwood Festival.
King George Day
The Group 2 King George Qatar Stakes sees the world’s top sprinters do battle in a race made famous by superstar Battaash. The Markel Magnolia Cup, The Coral Golden Mile and the Group 3 Bonhams. Thoroughbred Stakes make it a memorable way to start a long weekend.
Stewards’ Cup Day
A fitting finale to a fantastic week where the emphasis is on socialising, so Qatar Goodwood Festival is the place to be with your friends and family. The Coral Stewards’ Cup takes centre stage for the final day of the Qatar Goodwood Festival. Previous winners of this iconic cavalry charge down Goodwood’s home straight include Lochsong, Dancing Star and 2019’s winner Khaadem.
Qatar Goodwood Festival Dress Code
Goodwood embrace quintessentially British style – whether that’s high fashion or something more classic, it’s about a relaxed yet chic look. It’s known for a distinctive style – linen suits, Panama hats and chic dresses are de-rigeur.
Gordon & Lennox Enclosures
There is no formal dress code for these enclosures. All guests are encouraged to dress in a smart and elegant way, bringing a sense of style suited to the occasion of racing at Goodwood.
Richmond Enclosure / Hospitality
Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie. Boys aged 7-15 years are asked to wear a long sleeved collared shirt (no polo shirts).
Ladies, it’s all about the garden party look. A floaty or floral dress, an elegant top and trouser/skirt combination that is suitable for England in summer. Its recommended that you leave your stiletto heels at home, as the uneven ground can be tricky to walk on.
