A Statement from British Eventing
British Eventing is delighted to announce Eventing Breaks as a Business Partner and supporter of the Youth Programme which encompasses the youth national and international competition structure. Racing Breaks, a highly respected and established travel and hospitality specialist company, have now expanded into the sport of eventing, offering equestrian enthusiasts trips away at some of the top international events in the country, as well as the FEI European Eventing Championships. Offering a one-stop-shop for their guests, with packages that encompass ticketing, accommodation, travel and hospitality, guests will also have access to rider meet-and-greets, course walks and previews.
Aaron Taylor, Managing Director of Racing Breaks (and newly launched Eventing Breaks) said: “Being as established as we are in the racing market, it felt a natural progression for us to move into eventing, in which so many of our existing customers also have an interest. We have three events already on offer for 2023, and we hope to build on these for the future. Our initial events are the two 5* events in the UK - namely Badminton and Burghley - and the FEI European Eventing championships in France this summer also.
Our team is led by equestrian enthusiasts and travel experts, including sports broadcaster Aly Vance, who can offer first-hand insight and years of experience in attending the events we offer across the globe. This makes all the difference when crafting the perfect event-going experience, and we see this as part of the unique feel we will be able to give our guests at the eventing dates we are offering this year.”
Maria Haig, Head of Commercial & Marketing at British Eventing said: “We are delighted to be announcing Eventing Breaks as British Eventing partners. When speaking to Aaron and his team it was evident that this was more than just a business venture for them... it was driven by a genuine passion for the sport.
Their desire to bring people to some of the best events in the country, and to give them an incredible few days away, is matched also by a desire to support the sporting framework from which our medal winners of the future will develop. With this in mind, Eventing Breaks will be making a donation from every booking taken into the British Eventing Youth Programme, which encompasses the national and international competition structure for our aspiring riders of the future.”
Helen West, Chief Executive of British Eventing, said: “It is great to see Aaron and his team from Racing Breaks open their offering up to eventing and all it brings, from world class sport to the exceptional xperience it gives visitors of all ages. To have them offer support to the Youth Programme is something we are extremely grateful for, as it is an area that we strive to continue investing into if we are to continue developing world class riders of the future through our competition structure.”
