Tuesday 9th December 2025
Arrival & Welcome Function
- Upon arrival into Hong Kong Airport, make your way to the hotel.
- You will meet the rest of the group and enjoy some welcome drinks then head out for dinner to get to know everyone and hear our plans for the week.
Wednesday 10th December 2025
Half Day Hong Kong Tour & Happy Valley Races
- After breakfast, we’ll be taken on a guided tour of Hong Kong to get the lay of the land and learn about the amazing history of the island.
- In the evening we’ll head off to the amazing Happy Valley Racecourse for the International Jockeys Challenge with hospitality including buffet dinner and drinks package and great views from our balcony close to the action.
Thursday 11th December 2025
Breakfast With The Stars @ Sha Tin
- We have an early start to the day as we head out to Sha Tin for Breakfast with the Stars and barrier draws for the four main races. Watch the key runners in their final piece of work before the all-important barrier draw.
- The rest of the day is yours to do some shopping, head to Stanley Market or just relax after a busy few days.
Friday 12th December 2025
Carbine Club Luncheon
- After a relaxing morning, we’ll head off to the Carbine Club Luncheon at the Grand Hyatt to get the latest news on the international horses and meet with all the racing luminaries.
- Recent guest speakers include David Hayes, Gold Medallist Victoria Pendleton, UK Trainer Sir Michael Stoute, jockey Johnny Letts, horse whisperer Monty Roberts and many more. We’ll join the after-party to kick on for as long as you want.
Saturday 13th December 2025
Rest Day & Evening Harbour Cruise
- Today is a rest day and gives everyone a chance to explore Hong Kong at your leisure, to see more of the island, shop and do your form for Sha Tin tomorrow.
- We’ll meet late afternoon to head out for an evening boat cruise to enjoy Hong Kong Harbour and the stunning Christmas lights.
Sunday 14th December 2025
International Races @ Sha Tin
- After breakfast, we get into our finest racewear and jump on the bus to Sha Tin Racecourse for the highlight of the trip. Watch the best horses from around the globe compete from the comfort of our hospitality suite overlooking the 300m post.
- Celebrate with a fantastic buffet, drinks, and balcony to watch the races and the fantastic fireworks display to finish off the day.
Monday 15th December 2025
Trip Concludes
- After breakfast, have the morning at leisure before making your way back to the airport to catch your flight back to the UK.
Excursions
Our trip to Hong Kong is more than just the racing at Happy Valley and Sha Tin.
You'll also get to experience some unique excursions alongside some free time to explore the city. If you have any other excursions in mind get in touch and we'd be happy to assist in adding these to your quote!
Hong Kong Guided Tour
Get to know this utterly incredible city and find out more about the history of the Island.
A half day tour is included at the beginning of your trip so you can get the lay of the land and take note of other sites you would like to see on spare days later in the trip.
Breakfast with the Stars at Sha Tin
This event is a great opportunity to spend an enjoyable morning in the green space of Sha Tin Racecourse, with a buffet breakfast, and a precious opportunity to view some of the world’s finest race horses as they exercise ahead of the following day’s four Group 1 races.
You'll also have a chance to meet trainers and jockeys attending the International Races.
Carbine Club Luncheon
For more than 25 years, the Carbine Club of Hong Kong has been promoting sport and the values of community and fellowship in Hong Kong though a series of high quality speaker lunches that are timed to coincide with three of Hong Kong’s premier sporting events.

Evening Harbour Boat Cruise
Towards the end of your trip you will head out for the evening on a cruise from Hong Kong Harbour.
You will enjoy dinner in the company of stunning views of the cities Christmas lights - a fitting way to end your stay in Hong Kong.

There are are a couple of direct flight options from selected UK airports with connecting flights widely available from all others.
Extended stopovers are possible for those looking to spend a few nights whilst connecting in other locations.
